Bloodwork on the Bodies. October 27th, 2011
Analog Tattoo's newest book to hit the shelves, BloodWork: Bodies by artist/producer Adrian Lee and
photographer Max Dolberg. BloodWork: Bodies was a 4 year project including 53 tattooers and 119
backpieces and bodysuits and is a sequel to Bloodwork: Sleeves. This book weighs in at 12lbs!
The book is exhibiting until November 12th at Anno Domini Art Gallery, San Jose. All the photos are
printed out and showcased from full body suits to backpieces. The book is an accomplishment of
its own, from the details of the photography to the tattoo details into the skin. I'm proud to be a part
of this collection of well-respected artists from around the globe.

From Madrid to Barcelona, it's not hard to see how much these cities are full of life, full of color and full of art.
Every wall is tagged with graffiti and stickers, every building is decorated with dark and gothic sculptures, and
every corner is either a musician playing an accordion or children passing a basketball to each other. Tapas
are a locals' choice and wine and cava isn't just for dinner time. If only Americans can learn a little from our
neighboring countries.
Aside from the bullfights and flamenco dancing, we managed to stop by a few shops and meet some of
the people that run the street wear scene including Trust Nobody, MTN Cafe & Gallery, FTC, Creme,
and Carhartt (not the same kinda Carhartt we know in America).
Until we meet again, Spain...

brush, pencil or aerosol can and you'll see that their passion takes on a whole new level. Thanks Cab, Sid Enck,

Estria in LA. September 22th, 2011
Cukui and Estria. The Estria Graffiti Battle, the nation's largest graffiti arts competition, took place in Los Angeles
for the first time, partnering with Crewest Gallery on August 13, 2011. The battle word artists were give was
"RISE", with only 5 hours, and a limited amount of cans and colors, artists painted on an 8x10' canvas,
and then judged on their final production. Woier takes home 1st place, with Level coming in at 2nd, both of
them will be competing in the finals in Oakland, October 8, 2011.
